26 Women Staff honoured on AGGCON’s 23rd Foundation Day
New Delhi, 15 March 2025 (TRT Staff): Just a day before International Women’s Day, AGGCON marked its 23rd Foundation Day on March 7, 2025, by honouring 26 women employees for their invaluable contributions to the organization. Out of the 50 total personnel recognized, women made up over half of the honourees.
Jitender Aggarwal, Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) of AGGCON, and Renu Aggarwal, Director of AGGCON, presented certificates and awards to them.
On this special occasion, Jitender Aggarwal emphasized the importance of empowering women for the nation’s growth, stating, “Empowering women is crucial for the nation’s development. The pace of growth will accelerate if we create more opportunities for women-led development.”
He further added, “Women are already playing a pivotal role in India’s equipment rental industry, but we must ensure more opportunities for them to rise.”
Highlighting AGGCON’s commitment to diversity and inclusion, he remarked, “At AGGCON, women have been at the heart of our success and growth. Our dedication to diversity shapes a culture where everyone, regardless of gender, has the opportunity to thrive.”
Renu Aggarwal, Director and Head of CSR initiatives, also shared the company’s strong focus on women’s empowerment, saying, “Women empowerment is a core focus at AGGCON. It starts from the birth of a girl child. We celebrate every girl born to our team members and provide a cheque of ₹10,000. We also ensure free education for the daughters of our employees.”
AGGCON also runs a programme EWOT (Empowering Women of Tomorrow) where it trains women for higher roles in leadership and management in the rental industry. The company is also considering the possibility of employing women operators in the future.
