Centre set to complete Rs 3 lakh crore road projects in Kerala in my tenure: Nitin Gadkari
New Delhi, 21 Feb 2025 (TRT Staff): Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari, revealed that the central government is set to complete road projects worth Rs 3 lakh crore in Kerala during his tenure, with Rs 50,000 crore allocated to upcoming initiatives.
Addressing the Invest Kerala Global Summit (IKGS) virtually on Friday, Gadkari underscored the significance of the road sector for Kerala’s infrastructure development and its contribution to the state’s tourism growth. He highlighted the completion of road projects worth Rs 20,000 crore so far, with ongoing projects totaling Rs 60,000 crore.
Gadkari also announced the launch of 31 new projects, spanning 896 kilometres and valued at Rs 50,000 crore.
