Sanghvi Movers Signs Strategic MoU with ACE to Expand Indigenous Crane Fleet

Bengaluru, 11 Dec 2025 — In a move set to bolster India’s self-reliance in heavy-lifting solutions, Sanghvi Movers Ltd, a crane rental company has signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Action Construction Equipment Ltd (ACE), the world’s largest Pick-n-Carry crane manufacturer. The agreement was signed at EXCON 2025 on Wednesday by Rishi Sanghvi, Managing Director of Sanghvi Movers, and Sorab Agarwal, Executive Director of ACE.

Describing the collaboration as a major milestone, Sanghvi Movers stated, “This collaboration is a significant step towards strengthening the ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat’ and ‘Make in India’ missions.”

Through this partnership, Sanghvi Movers will progressively expand its fleet with indigenously manufactured heavy slew cranes. According to the company, this initiative will help reduce reliance on imported equipment while enhancing operational efficiency. “By progressively expanding our fleet with indigenously manufactured Heavy Slew Cranes, we will reduce import dependency, ensure superior serviceability and quicker turnaround time for our clients, drive substantial import substitution and technology advancement within India,” the company added.

Slewing cranes, known for their versatility and rotational mobility, are widely used across multiple industries. Beyond their traditional roles in mining and construction, these cranes support critical operations in shipyards for cargo handling, warehouses for heavy material movement, and manufacturing facilities for assembly line processes.
