Planting a tree may be the smallest but an important step and the simplest way to care for our Earth and fight the challenge of climatic change.
Inspired by PM Narendra Modi’s vision – One Earth, One Family, One Future and to give shape to his own vision to reduce carbon footprints, Jitender Aggarwal, Chairman & Managing Director, AGGCON started a mission – “Tree of Friendship” on the occasion of 20 years of AGGCON.
Explaining his mission – Tree of Friendship, he said, “As AGGCON always cares for sustainable development and environment. We started a green practice of planting or donating a tree when our machines arrive at any project site. Tree is a beautiful friend and heals the earth, makes it a better place for everyone.”
“The tree while growing up, makes everyone a friend,” Jitender Aggarwal added.
Elaborating more on the mission, he said, “It is an effort to sensitize people to plant tree and care for environment. Therefore, our team at every project site plants a tree, befriends the tree, waters it, and nurtures it and ensures it grows.”
On Earth Day, he emphasized, “We have an obligation to take care of this world we all share and together we should move on a path towards a more sustainable future. Earth Day is a great opportunity to celebrate the progress we’ve made.”
“Focus on the LiFE movement which aims to promote environmentally-conscious practices and a sustainable way of living will lead to achievement of G20 goals of Sustainable Development. We are committed towards reducing carbon footprints by adopting all possible good practices,” he added.
