Nepal should pave way for infrastructure equipment rental companies from India: Jitender Aggarwal, CMD, AGGCON

Government of Nepal in association with PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI) organized an “industry outreach meet” last week to connect with the Indian industry for the Third Nepal Investment Summit 2024, on April 28-29 in Kathmandu. The summit will convene distinguished national and international speakers, dignitaries, sector-specific experts, and, notably, high-level representatives from the government, private sector, and development partners.
Speaking during the meet, Dr Shankar Prasad Sharma, Nepal’s Ambassador to India said, “Nepal is a naturally preferred investment destination for the Indian businesses and we invite Indian businesses to Nepal Investment Summit 2024 to explore Nepal and be part of its industrial aspirations”.
He also said that the Government of Nepal was committed to simplify the business procedures and offer all possible support to the businesses.
Sushil Bhatta, CEO, Investment Board Nepal said, “Investment Board Nepal looks forward to welcoming the Indian industry captains to Nepal Investment Summit 2024 with keen interest to explore Nepal as an emerging investment destination at global scale.”

He said, “Infrastructure Equipment Rental sector is vital for infrastructure projects. Aggcon Equipments sees a significant role as a rental partner in the infrastructure development projects in Nepal. We assure all cooperation and support and request Government of Nepal to pave way for infrastructure equipment rental companies from India for collaboration. We would like to set up our office in future there.”
